No reason to continue playing UNT

We’ve dominated this series historically (32-6-1) and recently (4 of the last 5, all four wins by 2+ scores).

They bring no one to games besides their band.

We don’t care about them.

The road trip sucks, Denton is an absolute dump.

I’d rather make a road trip to UTSA or Rice going forward.

They probably brought the biggest traveling crowd we will see this year.

They brought more than the rest of our home opponents will bring combined.

This is a game I think we should keep especially if TXU drops us. I like being able to easily drive to an away game at a decent stadium and Apogee is a good facility.

I totally disagree, we should play them every year. Was a great atmosphere tonight, and also in Denton, last two times, they put some dollars into football, built a really nice stadium. TCU is probably gonna drop us, we need a close rivalry game that only takes a bus for the team to get there. Saves dollars and is easier on the players.

The dream would be, 3 of our four non conference games every year would be UNT, TCU, and Baylor, but UNT is probably the only one we can get long term.

We need to play the MeanGreen every year.

OK, not a rivalry, but still a game we should play every year, call it the cupcake game. Either way, we need to fill out 4 non conference games every year, UNT makes the most sense for one of them.

At best, TX State will bring half the fans that UNT did. Was that a home and home or a one game payday?

As long as we have the tcu game we should branch out and schedule a private home and away with like minded school or fun away game. Georgia tech, vandy, northwestern, etc...should be tcu, [deleted] regional, like minded fun toad trip and Swc lower end.

As an Arkansas State alum I agree with the statement that Denton is a dump. When they were in the Sun Belt with us I made trips there for games.
