ESPN has us favored in all of our remaining games except TCU and Memphis. Could this be a 10 win season?

Pump the brakes. We beat two much weaker conference opponents. Not exactly like beating a ranked team or P5 team. I'd say we will know more after TCU about the progress of the program. Till then current polls are not much value. NIce to get some respect. Still think we have to earn it and prove it.

I think we might take TCU.

There is a lot of football to go but if the kids stay hungry and working hard I think the rewards will be biblical.

We are good enough at this point to compete with everyone on the schedule. I agree both teams are from lower conferences, but just like the top teams at the AAC level would provide solid competition in the P5, the top teams in the lower G5 conferences would provide solid competition in the AAC.

Based on how the early season has gone, I would expect us to beat Texas State, USF, Tulsa, Temple, and ECU. That would put us at 7 wins.

I think SMU will be very competitive with TCU, Navy, Houston, Memphis, and Tulane. If we pull 3 of those games out and get to ten wins I would be thrilled. Tulane + two road wins against that bunch isn't impossible, but would be really impressive.

Buchele is to Hicks what Peyton Manning was to Ryan Leaf.

Our betterness is high.

It always can be until you lose 3 or 4 games. Possibilities!

I'm enjoying Sam Blum's coverage. DMN Best in Texas:
1. Texas: 143 (11)
2. Texas A&M: 133 (1)
3. Baylor: 120
4. TCU: 106
5. Texas Tech: 96
6. SMU: 86
7. Houston: 72
8. North Texas: 60
9. Rice: 48
10. Texas State: 36
11. UTSA: 22
12. UTEP: 14
