Does ESPN have a tv deal with the MWC like it does the AAC? That’s what really matters. Which conference they can promote to make them more money.

Wasnt there are thing that says Boise get 50% of the total revenue from the TV deals for the conference?

They’re in the last year of a CSB/ESPN contract and yes, Boise (and Hawaii) get extra.

If this comes down to eyeballs on TV sets I say that we win that hands down, because people will tune in to see us out of sheer novelty/curiosity/nostalgia WHATEVER. People will genuinely WANT to see us in a major bowl if offered, even if we're the bearded lady of the college football world.

I agree. The 30 for 30 several years ago made most CFB fans aware of SMU (who weren’t already), and everyone would be interested in watching SMU come back. Maybe because it played after a big heisman ceremony, but seemed like I heard so many people talk about that and say it was the best 30 for 30.
