Get ready to start rooting hard for TCU.

Shouldn’t be hard- we already beat them. B)

Definitely rooting for Tulsa, Tulane, and Temple this weekend.

I want the teams we play on the road to have two conference losses. And for Temple to win out and raise our SOS.

Navy: Tulane, @UConn, SMU, @Houston
Memphis: @Tulsa, SMU, @Houston, @USF, Cincy
Tulane: @Navy, Tulsa, @Temple, UCF, @SMU
SMU: @Memphis, ECU, @Navy, Tulane

Tulane has an incredibly difficult schedule ahead of them. If they win the west, they certainly deserve it, but the odds of that are really, really low.

We probably have the next hardest schedule. I've always said the winner of the West will have two losses.

That Cincy game really helps us out with Memphis. If they lose today, it gives us a great chance to finish ahead of them because of that Cincy game. I will also bet that someone loses at Houston, and that costs them a shot at the West. I think Memphis loses either @Tulsa or @Houston and also loses to Cincy, which would knock them out of the running.

Watch for Navy. They have the easiest schedule remaining and only the one conference loss. I'll go ahead and predict that the SMU-Navy game is going to be the biggest game that decides conference play, not the Memphis game. Winner take all. Luckily for us, they will get beat up playing ND the week before, but that is going to be a really tough game for all the marbles.

I agree with you Jason B regarding the importance of the Navy game, which scares me to death. We always have trouble with them. Already have my tickets for that one!

Trying not to get too far ahead, but I have been thinking the same thing. Kind of concerning given our history against them, but hopefully we turned the corner with the win last season.

I say screw Game Day at Memphis, I would rather see them upset by Tulsa and Navy upset by Tulane. That will give us some breathing room in the West.

Yep.

Whole reason I included it.

And with me living up here in Boston, it's the closest to me. :D

Navy's games against the AAC East: South Florida, UConn, and East Carolina? They have the easiest schedule in the AAC?

The Houston game should be a good one for Navy. Really glad we get a week off while they are playing Notre Dame.

Yes.

Arguably the hardest game they've played this year has been against Memphis, and they lost.

AAC West is really tough and we survived phase one in Houston of what is going to be a brutal road stretch. Next stop Memphis with a trip to Annapolis still on the schedule. Our guys are going to have to play their best game of the year at Memphis and there will be the added pressure of the national exposure. Did not appear we responded well to that pressure in Houston.

Trying hard to remain optimistic even if we lose Saturday at Memphis. We could still win out and hope that Memphis will not survive a trip to Houston and/or home game vs Cincy so we could still sneak in the back door as AAC West Champs.

Also reminding myself that this team would still have a good chance of winning 10 games which never entered my mind in predicting how this season would go.
