When was the last time we were on national TV in a Saturday night? SMU VS Oklahoma in December 1985?

SMU vs. Oklahoma on December 7, 1985 was a day game. I don't recall if it was televised 'cuz we drove up from Dallas to see the action .... not a pretty game.

It was on ABC. The game was moved to December before the season since it had national championship implications!

When we had Game Day a few years ago they announced it the week before but they had already announced Mike & Mike were coming two weeks in advance so that was kind of a giveaway.

I forgot the SMU VS Oklahoma game in 1985 was a day game. I guess to find out the last time SMU was on a primtime at night would you have to go back to the 1982 or 1983 team VS somebody like Arkansas? The big games against Texas were usually during the day. It is a dream come true to be on prime time Saturday night in Memphis. I am going to enjoy it.
