ABSOLUTELY - & why not???
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

Gameday is why they sold out their stadium.

1) Ranked opponent, the first time in Memphis's history that they and the opponent were both ranked in the AP & Coaches poll
2) GameDay
3) Prime Time on ABC

Start building a new, Dallas fan base by getting them to the remaining games and get them excited about SMU football. Winning is the only reason they would have a desire to go to a game in the first place. Seems like now is a good time to start.

Basically free... I consider paying $9.01 as basically free.

That was a big factor I imagine. Of course giving people such a big incentive and making it easy for them to afford the tickets didn’t hurt either.

$9.01 isn’t free to quite frequently people in the 901 area code

I've said it before and will say it again...follow the Cowboys early marketing approach and sell end zone tickets for $10-$15 but each paying adult can bring 3 kids free. Back in the day, my Dad paid $5 for an endzone seat in the Cotton Bowl and could bring 5 kids free.

Nothing is going to change our attendance this year. Win out, hopefully see a season ticket increase and increased area buzz next year.

There will be a bump this year. Too much talk during the week. Stopped in the grocery store to talk mustang football. I did not know them. At the Home Depot - People are talking SO do your part to get the ball rolling. Wear you SMU stuff everyday.
I have nice stuff for church and business meetings and I have oily, torn stuff for when I'm doing construction work. Segregate your markets and deliver the appropriate message.

A little bump this year and then we will see what season tickets do.

Or they could mess the whole thing up, and shake everyone down with a football re-seat.

I have better Bball tickets now than I ever did.

I'm surprised no one is talking about the fact that Memphis also sold beer for half price from 5:00-5:45. Great way to get people to come into the stadium.

I noticed that from the moment you walked in the gate there were multiple beer people and I can assure you that they weren't checking ID's. Selling right out of coolers.

I thought it was brilliant. I also took it as a personal challenge to see how many 1/2 price beverages I could put down in 45 minutes.
