Memphis moves ahead of Cincinnati.
We're still behind App State and Boise State.
Somehow two four-loss teams are ahead of us (USC, Iowa State)
Awesome we are back in as we should be.

Two of USC's losses are to Notre Dame and Oregon State. It has a win over Utah.
Iowa State's losses are to Baylor, Iowa, Oklahoma and Iowa State.

I personally think that the committee members watched our game against Memphis, and it is weighing in on their voting quite a lot. And from that game, and not having seeing other games, you would have to conclude our special teams are a mess and we have a porous defense. Our best wins are against tcu and temple. We don't have as many quality wins, but it's a function of our schedule. Simply put, we missed on the opportunity against Memphis, and we have to win out - good showing against Navy and win the American to be ranked by the end of the season I think.
There is also a strong bias against SMU specifically, and to a certain degree, against the American.

Honestly the PAC should on have 1 maybe 2 at best. They're such an overrated garbage conference. Oregon loses to a nobody and somehow remains. Utah is their best and even then I think is overrated. AAC is underrated like normal.
