After a month of rest, I think SMU would beat Virginia Tech by 2+ scores.

While the others are starting to reach a consensus on the Belk Bowl, this one has SMU going back to Tampa. https://www.sportingnews.com/us/ncaa-fo ... bv6begppvj

If Cincy gets that as a bowl game, our conference needs to do some serious lobbying. However I say that but our conference post season record is pitiful.

If this is true, Hart (along with Aresco) needs to be working the phones with the bowl directors now. If there is a feeding frenzy, first mover advantage is critical. https://collegefootballnews.com/2019/11 ... ill-happen & https://www.csnbbs.com/thread-884778-page-3.html

If we win 10 or 11 games only to end up playing a MAC team in Frisco that will be utterly heartbreaking for the team. Please no.
Back off Warchild seriously.

Honestly I don't trust those discount sites. I trust 247 Sports which has us playing against VTech right? Most publications showed that the P5 aren't going to be able to qualify. It's up to Ricky to make sure we get a good bowl spot. Frisco would be a slap in the face. That's meant for a 7-5, 6-6 AAC team.

Keep winning. I cannot see a double-digit SMU team being stuck in Frisco. Belk or Liberty or Texas Bowl would be cool.

If we can't win out and earn the Cotton Bowl invite, all I want for Christmas is a Belk Bowl invite so I can actually attend. Tough for me to get away these days so local would be nice.

SMU is one of the biggest stories in football this year. If SMU wins out, then I doubt we get a crappy bowl. Even at 10-2 I bet the bowl is decent.

At 12-1, Cotton Bowl (though I’m not sure the team is ready to play Oregon/OKlahoma, etc.)

We won’t be in Frisco. But it’s another reason to hope Houston beats Memphis. Need Houston to go bowling.

Good point. AAC already has 7 teams bowl eligible and would love to see 8 but I don't see either Houston or USF winning 6 games as they have tough schedules to finish.

A prime time match-up vs. a P5 would be the right way to cap this season.
