Is he going to convert to a defensive back at LSU?
Why go to DBU (LSU) when you could go to WRU (SMU). if you wanted to play WR in the pros?

Didn’t this guy decommitted from us before he chose UT?
LSU has a pretty full WR class from what I’ve heard. Think we are in play for him.

Committed in 2018 well before his other offers came. Good catch. Proves that commitments mean nothing until the dotted line is signed on signing day unfortunately these days

I believe he was following some coach who left Texas. I thought I saw somewhere that we picked up that coach.

Samples was a very key piece in recruiting at Texas. They were sad to see him go, but should have offered him a better job like we did. Texas seems to be losing someone every week

Quay is a 2021 recruit. LSU doesn't have any receivers committed for that class.
