NCAA upholds Mizzou bowl ban, SMU implications

This is big for one reason only for us: It takes away an SEC team that was bowl eligible. We need as many SEC slots as possible to open up if we want to avoid the Frisco Bowl.
Next big help needed: We need Ole Miss to beat Miss. St. Bulldogs are at 5 wins and become eligible with a win.
Also helpful: SEC getting two teams into the playoff
