Are we making them drive themselves (with mileage reimbursement of course)? 8 to a room?

The bowls usually cover transpo/hotel costs for band/cheer, so I'd imagine they will be just fine.

There is talk of not sending the full band, and I got word that I should pass along the names of anyone willing to donate to the "bowl fund in support of this trip"

So, maybe not so fine? I said this but was just being funny. I sure hope our athletic department comes through.

This is not accurate. Most bowls, including Boca, do not cover this cost. That said, we are taking a band and spirit members to the game.

The entire band or a skeleton band? Sorry 'a band' is not very definitive.

All the cheerleaders and Pom Squad? Any idea in total how many “non football” related - ie school administration people SMU is taking?

Yes, hopefully the entire band. They deserve to travel as much as the team does. They have certainly earned the right.
