Wow! Proche extends his record of consecutive games with a TD catch with a meaningless TD catch.

Xavier Jones put some distance between he and Dickerson tonight as well.

At least we regularly beat bad teams now but other than that...same old tune.

Meanwhile the other team loses all kinds of key players and their head coach..........:.

Have to give this FAU coaching staff a lot of credit...and maybe Kiffen as well for not leaving town with his entire staff before the bowl game. I think Taggart would be wise to keep most, if not all of this staff together. FAU looks like a program to be reckoned with in CUSA.

Were there any positive takeaways from the game tonight? I didn’t see any.

It started with the official Tailgate. Complete crap show. No beer, only Chardonnay at both bars for a long time. Food, meh. Then the game. SMU crapped the bed early and often.

Silver lining: we outscored them 14-10 in the final quarter, which included a 42-yard pass from Shane Buechele to Rashee Rice, setting up a touchdown.

Silver lining for the game is that the commits, signees and future prospects know there is plenty of starting positions available.

The game was a disaster.

I am huddled down in a corner crying with a bottle of Teeling.

This kind of blow-out really caught me by surprise.....SMH
