AAC finishes with 4 teams ranked in the A.P. Top 25 and SMU getting votes as well. Pretty strong year for the conference

Hard to believe we received any votes after losing 3 of our last 5 games and with the performance in that last loss.

LSU's win likely ensures that the AAC will finish the season rated higher than the ACC.

Lots of teams had bad bowl games - Baylor, Utah, Boise, USC, OSU, etc...

According to Sagarin, the AAC West did finish higher than either ACC division. And the AAC East, even with UConn, finished just behind the ACC.

New TV contract is coming active next school year. Then we will get way more money per year but still less than half of what ACC schools get. Baby steps...

That's true, but with the greater TV coverage via ESPN, that will eventually change. Look at it this way, we are miles ahead of any other G5 conference. And we have some really strong teams who can compete with anybody. I see the AAC moving up in revenue and the P5 conferences moving down over time.

The way things are going... I could see Clemson demanding that they get a bigger cut. Maybe even doing what the B12 does with making tiers. Obviously Clemson deserves a good chunk more than the rest and maybe throw in FSU since they were befores.

Clemson can't do that until after 2036, when the ACC's current revenue-sharing and grant-of-rights agreements expire. And yes, Clemson's football performance over the last 3 years is by far the biggest current revenue generator for the ACC, but the basketball TV and NCAA share revenues are substantial, and Clemson gets credit for almost nothing in those buckets. We'll see how the world looks in 16 years, however.
