I remember that too. You may be right. That would doom the MWC, but what about the Olympic sports? Do you think the MWC would keep them just to stay in business? Or would they have to go to the WAC, or Big West or somewhere else? I wonder if their new TV rights deal is dependent on their full membership. What happens if one of them leaves the conference?

I may not be thinking "outside of the box" enough. From what I gather there is a lot of dissension within the MWC. We'll see. If expansion is in the works, additional revenue would be required, and ESPN would definitely be in that game.

So you want 12 football but only 11 bball schools after UConn leaves? Sorry but I don't even like having WSU and Navy as one sport members and would still like to replace UConn with another "full member". I will concede it might be easier to play with only 11 bball schools...if we played a 20 game conference schedule so things are balanced and seeding in the AAC Tourney is fair.

Be better to add Marshall closer to other east schools.

Ever been to Huntington, West Virginia?
Give us Boise ... please.

We should do that in red and blue except every yard instead of every five yards.

Or alternate red, blue and white every yard. Then we could be America's team?

Blue field, red field, or striped, I still think Boise State would add a lot of value to the American Conference. And BSU plus BYU really would add a lot of value. Given the fact that ESPN wants to re-negotiate our contract after the loss of UConn, we need to do something that will prevent the loss of revenue.
