Hopefully not a blowout loss in a low level bowl game.

Jesus.

We have two Thursday night games, including one with our biggest conference opponent five days after our biggest rival. Wow.

Outside of that, I'm happy. Our home schedule could include four top 25 teams, which is a big improvement.

we don't leave the state of Texas until Oct 17 the tulane game.
We only have 2 games away from Texas and border states the entire year. (at ecu and at Temple)

BRUTAL 5 game stretch!

How many of these 5 in row were in bowl games last year?

And only one P5 team scheduled. Don't we get enough of SFA and Texas State? Next we'll be like Baylor and be scheduling Incarnate Word. Wait! Don't tell me! Are they already scheduled?

Guess what. All five of those teams have a brutal game against SMU.

I like that we don't have to play at home the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Always a lackluster crowd for those games. Plus, looks like Senior Day will be against Houston, so some extra motivation for the team against an important rival.

November 28 average temperatures:

Dallas - High 61, Low 47
Greenville, NC - High 59, Low 43

It will be nice to not have the dismal Thanksgiving weekend game at Ford though!

Best home slate in a long time.
Only complaint, as others said, is the Saturday to Thursday turnaround for Memphis after TCU.
Central Texas on Labor Day weekend will be nice.
