When Morstead was at SMU, then-Phil Bennett told a story more than once about how he saw someone working out like a maniac at Ford Stadium, chugging up and down the hill at the south end in the July heat and asked someone "who is that guy?" ... only to be informed that it was his punter.

The New Orleans Saints traded up to get him in the 2009 NFL draft — an unheard of transaction for a punter — and since then he has consistently been among the league's best punters, and notorious for putting himself through some rather rigorous workouts.
