SMU police meeting with football team

Postby Terry Webster » Sat Jun 27, 2020 9:29 am

Any one else read about this meeting last year? Really disgusting having an SMU officer encouraging players to run because they are faster than the police. Article said that several of the Black players walked out of the meeting.

It’s a Sam Blum article, so take it all with a grain of salt. He’s a pathetic loser who will stop at nothing to make us look bad in trying to make a name for himself.

The players have been saying the same thing all over Twitter. Just cause you don't like Blum doesn't change what happened.

What an idiot. No one should resist arrest. He should promptly apologize to the team and coaches.

That's not enough.

The officer should be told to turn in his badge and President Turner should launch an investigation into the leadership of the Force.

Sam does a really good job. He will write an uncomfortable article when it is needed, but he got more positive DMN coverage than SMU has had in years.
