What a surprise that Jimbo Fisher would participate in illegal recruiting practices...

They banned all recruiting visits for November 2019. Tell the recruits "Forget we were there"? Either a poorly written article or poorly meted out punishment or maybe I can't read.

Agree. This is just so much bowel gas being passed by the NCAA. Once again, nothing to see, move on until the NCAA can slap a Death Penalty on a Tier III swiming program. That'll show A$M!

. A ban on recruiting any prospects from the prospect's high school for the 2019-20, 2020-21
and 2021-222 academic years.

This seems like a BIG overstep for the nCORRUPTaa. Very unfair if you are an
athlete from whoever this high school is. Even if the athlete wants to go there without any
recruiting from A$M won't touch them with a 100 foot pole. A scholarship offer would just open
the door for more investigation :!:

If I was the AD at the high school I would SUE THE BASTARDS :!:

This is so ridiculous when other more egregious stuff simply gets overlooked. Just an FYI, Stan Wilcox is the guy who levied the punishment from the NCAA. He is the NCAA’s executive vice president for regulatory affairs. Guess what? He was also the AD at FSU when Jimbo left. Tell me that doesn’t smell funny.
All this is fairly minor and most of the punishment has been served. The biggest negative is that any other minor violation between now and June 2021 could cause bigger problems.

The NCAA is interested in money, not justice. Their overreach in the PSU debacle has come back to bite them, and worked favorably for Baylor's cloud of problems. The NCAA simply chose to give them a pass.

An exit of all 118 FBS teams simultaneously would be a suitable solution, then watch Emmert stammer out his "outrage".
