Notre Dame is also playing a full ACC schedule for this year only.

The one non-conference game must take place in the home state of the ACC school, which is a stupid rule.

How schools are to determine what one non-conference game to keep is a mystery, as is what happens if UVA wants to keep UGA but UGA wants to drop UVA. There will almost certainly be G5/FCS lawsuits over canceled games.

So, If the AAC follow suit we play our schedule plus tcu at home.

Pretty good considering the coronavirus.

How are they going to do the Boulevard? Come at your own risk? No food.... all paper throw away? Lots to consider until Nov. 4th.

Maybe. The ACC actually reworked the entire schedule; they had to do that partly to fold in Notre Dame for a full slate, but they also increased the conference games from 8 to 10, swapped up which teams play which teams in a lot of cases, and eliminated the concept of divisions. So if the AAC does the same, there would be more changes for SMU.

SEC just went conference-only, which makes 3 of 4 P5 conferences to do that. Hopefully the Big XII will not step on the SMU-TCU game. All of this assumes anything is played at all, of course.

Figure the Big 12 will go with a conference only +1 schedule in order to get them to 10 games. You would hope that we would be TCU's +1 but you could see them wanting a home game for the +1. Also, SMU would never be anyone's +1 choice. You figure a power conference team would either want to play an elite team in order to help the championship rankings or a cream puff for a tune up game. SMU does not fall into either of those categories. Could easily seeing the Froggies bailing on this one.
