After watching this half, the Frogs may try to find a way to reschedule.

Announcers said Texas State has over 50 different players on this year's roster compared to the team SMU crushed last year...and it shows. Better hope we have better depth and can outlast these guys. Looks like the same story to me, i.e., weak on D and we are going to have to outscore them.

Bentley moves pretty well for a big RB; was pretty shifty down near the goal line and good acceleration after the cut...but this is Texas State

D seems to have stayed in Dallas and the O is really not on key. Wonder if these players expected a game similar to last year. as of half-time the ponies are getting their [deleted] kicked

Hope to see more deep balls to Gray and Roberson. Shane missed a wide open Gray so hopefully they get their timing down as the season wears on

Might have come out a little lethargic after a long bus ride. Let's hope the 2nd half is a different story. Need to come out and score on opening drive or could go down to the wire today

Texas State's 2 RBs are averaging over 7 yards per carry and their team has almost doubled up out total rushing yards in that 1st half. Our fat boys are getting mauled

Need to make a halftime adjustment - get rid of the three-man defensive front. Texas State is shredding it with their running game and we're not pressuring their quarterback at all on passing downs.

so much for 'bigs'. we need players who can play. this could be a very long season.

Good start to 2nd half. Just need a long time consuming drive now to go up 2 scores
