GA Tech spoils former Memphis coach Norvell's debut at FSU. Norvell's seat will get hot quickly at FSU as GA Tech was supposed to be worst team in the ACC this year and game was at FSU

Holy Cow...

-KSU looked worse than we did in their opener, and then took the cheese and lost to Arky Lite...

-ISU does the same against the Cajuns...

-The Big 12-2 is praying for a break in their other games...Tech is too close for their comfort...

-FSU looks inept in the second half, and has NO LB support against the run...Mrs. peruna81 is not a happy camper tonight after losing to GT...

-Tulane is getting mauled in the trenches....sheesh.

On the other hand, take a view of the twitter feed of HCSD and the Skillet...nice tweak of the CovidFrog's nose.

Welcome to College football 2020.

SMU marketing is using every ounce of fuel against the Frogs. Truly a wonder to behold.

SunBelt having a good day with Tulane down 10 at S. Alabama after Arky State and LA-Laffy pulled upsets earlier today

UT nearing 50 against UTEP, OU nearing 50 against MoState (who the hell is that?), West Virginia 50+ against somebody in Kentucky, and TTech is annihilating Houston Baptist (yes, there is such a school) 28-20 in the third quarter.

Nice comeback by Tulane to pull out the W at South Alabama. Score another for the AAC against the SBC. Meanwhile, Coastal Carolina is up 21-0 at Kansas. Announcers talking like the SBC is making a statement today and specifically mentioned the AAC as the top G5 conference with the SBC possibly replacing the MWC as the best of the rest.

HBU is only down 2 to TT late in the 4th. Would be fun to see Tech lose along with the others today.

Tech hung on but the message for Big XII schools is "don't schedule SunBelt teams"...better stick with FCS opponents. SBC really does have some up and coming programs. Coastal Carolina (in Myrtle Beach, SC) has only been playing football since 2003 and only moved up to the FBS level with the SBC in 2017. Helps to have TD Ameritrade and Hooters benefactors funding the program but I've watched them build their program from scratch and was really impressed watching them kick some Jayhawk arse last night. Their RS FR QB had a nice debut accounting for all 5 of their TDs

Don't know what to think heading into next week vs UNT at their place

Tech won by two to a relatively new HBU football program. If you've seen the HBU facilities, well, they're a few steps below most major Texas high school programs. Their stadium looks like something you might see in, I don't know, Sulphur Springs.

Radio guy here said that the undergraduate enrollment at HBU (2,300) is less than many Baptist churches in Houston

Former Baylor president Robert Sloan handed me my masters degree in theology last December in that complex with the round dome just a short Barry Bonds shot over the left field wall.
