SMU is #18. When is the last time SMU was ranked higher than UT, TAMU and OU?

Jimbo Fisher and Tom Herman are meeting with their staffs right now asking "how can we recruit well enough to keep up with SMU?"

I'm pleasantly surprised. I was expecting 23-25.

We are still ranked behind Ohio State, Penn State, Oregon and Wisconsin, all of whom impressed the pollsters with their undefeated records.

In my view, the most accurate Top 25 poll (doesn't include teams with 0-0 records)

While nice, I think this is a distraction and I'm sure the coaches will say the same thing. We were up 24-3 and let Memphis get back in it. We can't over look Tulane, as tempting, to the top 25 match up against Cincy. I'm nervous for the run defense and the hole without Reggie as our offense went really flat when he departed. I'm thankful for the week off so they can either plan around or give him the necessary time to get back in. Prayers to Reggie and TJ.

Time to work the Arky WR transfer into the rotation with the off week.

Ooh, good point. I thought Upshaw looked great out there and needs continued reps, but he doesn't seem to be an athlete in the Roberson mold. Jackson may be more of that type of guy.
