I think a quick reschedule of the TCU game would be the most feasible . I don't think that will be
happening with little or no team practice, preparation, and administrative set up for the game.

Everyone knew coming into this season that schools would have to be flexible/nimble to get through a full season. It's a shame that 2 schools only 35 miles apart can't get it together quickly...especially when attendance/fans are not as big an issue. I would think TV coverage is the real challenge in situations like we are in right now.

Looks like we are one of 11 games already postponed or cancelled this week. Ouch.

CP, I think it is less a case of "get it together", and more a case of "get it together the way we want it together". Thus the earlier insistence that the game be held at the Frog House.

SMU has done a commendable job in mitigating the effects of COVID over the balance of the season.... other conference mates, not so much. UH has had serious issues, like UNT and Navy, all year long.

While UH had 4 games cancelled/postponed early in the season, they were all due to the opponent's COVID issues

As far as trying to make up any regular season games lost to Covid, which will take on the higher priority at this point...conference game at Ford vs Houston or non-conference with crosstown rival TCU in Cowtown?

Pac-12 is allowing nonconference games - maybe someone will want to play us.

if you listen to the interview with holgerson you can tell he did not want to play this game. he mentions that he includes injuries with covid to determine if he will play. Obviously some of his key players were injured and he found an excuse not to play us.
First interview with him I have seen and my impression is that he is one very arrogant a-hole. Fits cougar high perfectly.
