CBS has us at 39th with TCU at 41st in their final FB Poll.

Being ranked in the Top 25 for many weeks was encouraging and fun. Sonny has us trending well and I I look forward to 2021.

We have come a long way with Sonny at the helm. Looking forward to building depth. Sonny has put good players on the field but now we need good players on the bench waiting to get on the field and show what they are made of. Competition at practice is what I remember back in the early 80's and the phrase "Bus Ticket" said from player to player... if you were not busting your [deleted] in practice. FYI: You're going home.

Appears a significant non Big 5 conference teams did well. Wonder if its cause of Covid or cause there is a more level playing field?

I think the transfer portal is impacting the talent gap between P5 and the top G5 programs. Certainly true for SMU

Yep, you can't recruit up all the good players, and trap them on the second string anymore.

Yep; playing time in front of family and friends beats riding the pine with higher profile P5 programs
