That's a super disingenuous way to phrase it.
He was hired away from Colorado to Oregon by Willie Taggart. Then he followed Taggart to FSU, then to FAU. It's not like he was getting fired or wearing out his welcome.
He's a really good DC and an excellent hire for Dykes.
