Good for him. It has gotten ridiculous. Nice to see someone stand up to the bullies.

You are correct - he did get a good education and his decision RE: Covid illustrates he learned to think for himself and not fall prey to mass hysteria. Good observation.

Very proud of Cole B. Not falling for the media, political narrative. If he, you, others want a shot go for it. If you don't, that is your right. Personally, I have never been vaccinated since childhood.

Not everyone who went to SMU is well educated. For proof, just read some of the other comments.

so he'll give up a yearly salary of $7,250,000 to prove getting a vaccine is his choice. His employer has a say in the matter say well. like it or not.

Principle is not for sale. And no one has denied his employer a say. The NFL has been saying plenty with their ridiculous policy. The employee has replied.

Disappointing but not surprising. Beasley totally fits the stereotype of the anti-vaccine crowd.

Exactly! At some point the acceptance rate at SMU hovered around 75-80%.

Also, if you "think for yourself" but did not learn to properly interpret data or have a good sense of risk analysis, it's not something to be proud of. Sometimes, it is best to let the experts lead. Would you defend yourself in court on a murder charge without proper representation? This knucklehead did: https://twitter.com/FINALLEVEL/status/1 ... 3087655942

Little Elm HS must have a great science department

It's great when the "think for yourself" crowd doesn't understand what they're trying to think about and then come to factually incorrect conclusions.

Cole can join hands with the California Soccer Moms and Andrew Wakefield in vaccine denial.

Watch this to Get Learned about the source of modern vaccine hesitancy which began in the 90s and see what actual abuse Wakefield did to try and find any shred of evidence for his hypothesis. They nearly killed a toddler via a colonoscopy.
