Just realized La Tech is only a 3.5 hour drive from Dallas. Anyone been to a game in Ruston? Worth the trip?

Yes. There is nothing to do in Ruston, but the drive is quick and easy. Time to increase the number of PonyFans who travel.

Sounds like a day trip without spending the night then!

I used to always go to the away games at Tech, Baylor, A&M, etc., but we usually got beat 66-8 or something and I haven’t gone to away games since. Will have to make TCU, La Tech and Houston this year.

Maybe it will be relatively cool on 9/18. Those early season midday kickoffs can be rough. Do they have tailgating?
