Funny enough. When I was at SMU, TCU simply sucked, and we killed them. Our hate was reserved for those cows in burnt orange uniforms. Given that they blew up the SWC, the Big XII, constantly ratted us out to the NCAA, and have refused to play us since, they have not gotten out of jail in my opinion.

This. UT: the school that does the least with the most. I at least respect what TCU has done in recent years. Houston and UT (and Memphis and Baylor) are my [deleted] list schools.

Don't know about that, but Aggies still "Saw 'Em Off"...Funny thing is Del Conte has openly advocated now for a resumption of the series between UT and Aggies, and new coach Sarkisian made vague references to Longhorn faithful that the Aggies were "dodging" the Horn's series. Umm, okay.

Short version is that UT is still the big brother, but Aggies are getting to be the BIG little brother that is tired of the current pecking order. The good news about all this for Texas?

They are still Aggies, and find a way to remain true to that maroon curse.

When I was in school, Texas and Baylor were the ones I hated most. Now it's Houston, Baylor and TCU in a tie ... and I still hate UT

Hard to hate anyone more than Baylor. They always had the drunkest, most obscene and violent fans back in my day. My opinion of them has only gone down since. TCU is a rival as they are close and liked to beat up on us post DP. Now that we're becoming more of a constant threat it is enjoyable to hear them whine.

Back in 2011, A&M played Baylor at Kyle Field. As a pastor in the Brazos Valley, a church member gave me a pair of tickets, and I went with an Aggie buddy. RG3 and Ryan Tanneyhill put on a show, and Art Briles was infuriated at the end of the game, taunted by the Corp Turds that were positioned behind the visitor benches. In their defense, the CTs didn't say anything derogatory, they just lean over the railing yell "AAAAAHHHH" for three hours at you. Art wasn't pleased, and was in a sour-puss mood after A&M hung 55 on the Bears.

In those days you exited on the south side of the end zone to get to the stand alone buildings that served as the visitor locker rooms. You had to run the gauntlet of the cheap-seat Aggie fans like my friend who gave me the tickets, so I got a ring side seat hearing the taunts from Aggie fans on Baylor players as they shuffled off to the showers. Suddenly Briles turned and charged up to the rails, started hauling himself into a throng of Aggies...because one had shouted something about "run another draw play, Art".

People stood, hurled beer, fighting fans and Asst Coaches fetched Art out of the first row and back to comparative safety. By this time it is raining beer, cups, abuse and Art is complaining to stadium security about things. Police start to escort folks away, and Baylor players...when one guy yelled "YOU STILL HAVE TO GO BACK TO WACO, ART!"

Art turned back with the "hold me back" look working...

Baylor is the worst, by far.

But when you know kids who played there, when you know the overwhelmingly positive changes that have been made, when you know what a good guy the new head coach is, what a neat person the new president is, when you’ve had three sons run on the field with the Good Old Baylor Line, it’s just hard not to like ‘em.

Back in the old days, again Baylor was pretty tame (except in 74 when they won the SWC for the first time in 50 years). We didn't hate them and kind of rooted for them when they beat us to clinch that title because it meant UT wouldn't win the title. Speaking of the Aggies, they were always the best ones to mess with. They had no sense of humor at all. The whistles at halftime that messed up their block T formation was probably the best prank in Mustang history.
