Looking forward to this! It will be so much fun!

It will be great to check out Club Takeaway. I can't wait to get some bottle service and party with the girls this fall.

SMU should be trying like hell to boost attendance over and above the loyal season ticket holders and donors that come to each game.

We need more students and more of the Dallas community to attend that normally did not consider going to an SMU football game a "must do" event.

I like a lot of the stuff SMU is doing, but in what universe could anyone see "Club Takeaway" as a great, or even good idea. It is terrible, does nothing to boost attendance and helps perpetuate the stereotype of SMU being a snobby and uptight institution that the average fan cannot relate to.

Hopefully it will be well hidden behind the glass so TV cameras can't cut to shots of it and make fun of us.

I've advocated SMU following the Dallas Cowboys' early model for increasing attendance but so far I haven't seen any serious effort to at least fill all those end zone seats that sit vacant for most games

Agree. We are 3 weeks away from the home opener, and I have seen and heard nothing, promoting ticket sales, with the exception of pounding our small, donor fatigued season ticket holders base. I am all for raising money for the program, but, 90% of the fans in this proposed area, will have their backs turned to the field, busy talking about their next luxurious vacation.

The Dallas branding, with billboards and such, will surely help.

Even if the attendance starts out slow it will surely pick up once people start seeing the highlights of the Dallas uniforms - especially now that we have the blue ones!
