I thought I saw Mordecai walking to breakfast this morning dressed as Paul Revere.

It’s Boston per SMU’s Twitter.

Good matchup against an ACC team that has been underperforming expectations all year and who just weirdly lost their coach.

They were up and down, weren’t they? They destroyed Duke and others. And then lost games they shouldn’t have.

Finished the season with four straight losses. Duke and GT were horrible, so destroying them doesn't prove anything. Back-to-back road wins at Miami and Louisville were probably their best performances.

Miami is the only FBS team they beat that has a winning record (and that is only 7-5). Sure UVa is obviously bowl-eligible, but they’re really just not that good.

SMU beat a bunch of teams with losing records, with one decent win against a barely over .500 team, and lost four of the last five. Am I wrong or does UVA sound a lot like SMU, only we are in the AAC and not the ACC.

All true. I just said UVA had underperformed all season, not that SMU hasn’t finished badly too. My only quibble with your note is that the ACC was terrible this year, and particularly UVA’s division (the Coastal).

UCF finished 8-4 (8-3 without the loss to SMU). How is that "barely over .500"?

AND the flag in fact WAS planted...

and Kill was hit by an SMU player...

and our players were meanies...

and we should never play them again...

Did I cover all the stuff? Good luck, Sonny. I want my Mustang Mania sticker back.
