Yes gostangs sadly I have felt this was coming,
It's not good news for anyone.
it will stay mostly "not covered" by mainstream media as long as possible.
Why in the heck did the CDC stop fully tracking all breakthrough cases?

If 100% of the population is vaccinated, and the vaccine is 90% effective against catching it, and 95% effective against hospitalizations, and 99% against death, then 100% of people catching it, hospitalized and dying of it are vaccinated. In other words, the more of the population is vaccinated, the percentage of vaccinated vs. unvaccinated cases will go up, but that doesn't indicate it's any less effective. However, the fewer number of unvaccinated folks around not only helps stop the spread because there are fewer people susceptible to it, it stops the likelihood of another mutation that is even more deadly, or worse, one that renders all the vaccinations of the 171 million who already have it, useless.

Also, I don't know who told you the CDC stopped reporting breakthrough cases (I have my suspicions), but you can go right to the CDC website to see that's not true. https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-19/health-departments/breakthrough-cases.html

People hear and believe what they want to and we have 2 extremes bickering with each other more and more these days. Bottom line: let's hope we don't have to miss any games because of this virus.

If you have to dig deep to find the "truth" you're probably shoveling a little too close to the cesspool. Spreading inaccurate information does not help the cause of making it through the season successfully. The best chance we have of being happy football fans is to follow proven Covid-19 mitigation recommendations.

Nice try....go back and read my post and/or stop lying...I didn't say the "CDC stopped reporting breakthrough cases"....my source is CNBC...which I know probably does not fit your biased narrative assumptions ..

The CDC doesn’t count every breakthrough case. It stopped counting all breakthrough cases May 1 and now only tallies those that lead to hospitalization or death, a move the agency was criticized for by health experts.
