Here are my scores:
1. Boulevard A(by 4:00 it was rockin!)
2. Stadium efficiency on gate entrance D needs improvement
3. Stadium sound system F, well you heard it, unacceptable
4. Stadium concessions F, horrific lines
5. Halftime A, on point for 9/11
6. Crowd/Attendance B+, 29,121 not bad!
7. WiFi A+
8. Scoreboard [b]C-
improvement needed on down counts, it lagged all game
9. Bring back the Mustang noises, the new play area is nice, and Club Takeaway was pretty full (I miss the fireworks, too)
10. Peruna running after touchdowns A+, priceless

As far as ESPN +, the announcers were not bad. An A for play by play and B- for color. However whoever handles the down and distance graphics and the yellow first down line need to be sent to school for speed and accuracy.

The stadium has wifi? What? What's the password, I had terrible signal in the stands.

I absolutely hate when they mic up the band. Sound horrific.

Mic-ing the band is preferred over forced metal/rap/country PA music. A new mic setup is the real problem. Get some up to date equip and it will sound fine.

College football should be the sound of fans, PA guy, and bands, not Metallica.

A fella can miss quite a bit of football while attempting to secure a beer and a hotdog. #Ridiculous .... plus, half the people in line, once at the counter, acted like they had never been to a consession stand before.

The past two weeks are the best reception I've ever had at Ford. Whatever they did during the offseason has been a massive blessing. Never had a single issue with it.

Agreed on the lines...at least before halftime. It was horrendous.

Music through the PA system is so loud, the speakers are distorting.

I generally agree with this…however, VT’s entrance tradition is pretty awesome:

Now dumb music sound bites during the game need to be squashed.

I agree on all his points, especially the lousy refreshments and way too loud speakers blaring noise branded as music. One other item: no one sitting where I was (30 yard line) could read the words on the end zone board relating both teams game time stats. Simply too small to be read from any distance.

Band sound, fine…canned sound way way toolloud…abandon the canned sound….the ad forgot to prepare the entrance folks and the concession folks…coach forgot to prepare the team…until the second half…a lot of folks will not return, just because….but great crowd, great pregame activity…and great weather…our secondary needs a kick in the ….as does our defensive line..

Offensive line had its poorest game in a couple of years.
We have damn good skill position guys.
I love having a quarterback who throws 4 touchdowns while "looking a little off his game"

Agreed - 2,3,6 8 & 10
Didn't use/no comment - 1, 4, 5 & 9
Wi/Fi - HORRIBLE! I don't know what upgrades were made, but somehow the situation is worse. Incoming messages were greatly delayed and outgoing messages were non-existent. I received a voice call during the game (which worked fine), but data was a bust until the end of the game.

Both O and D lines need to step it up. Cornerback play was often disappointing. Even though the final score looks good I bet Sonny isn't so sunny when watching the game film.

The noise. I had to take my hearing aids out. Really, I turned them off and left them in place to use as ear plugs. Many around me sat with their hands over their ears as the noise was PAINFUL.

I would like to have some time for conversation with those around me. What a novel idea, conversation not blairing media/noise.

Glad we won, but we still did not run well. Take the Bentley IV run out and the numbers are POOR.
but, a win is a win and let's pray for more growth and development.

Go Mustangs.

I felt like the announcers were not at the game (I think they were not). They had a hard time figuring out what was happening at times with some of what was happening off camera. The sideline reporter for ESPN was a local stringer (and was obviously at the game).

I switched audio over to the ticket after a quarter. Much better. Plus - can't replace those informative sideline reports from Steve L!
