Anything since beating Navy on Air? Would think we would get some more conversation at 6-0.

The GP meltdown was worth almost a week of segments on the little Ticket, all pro-Smoo and anti-Frog. With so many incredible games this past weekend, only a mention here and there.

Just win. Notoriety and t-shirt fans will follow.

Except at the Ticket.

Doesn't SMU pay the station to carry games? You'd think they would find it beneficial to play up the team that plays on its airwaves.

I really don't think the ticket is all that popular anymore. I think Rhyner was a good move on his part.

The Ticket is rubbish - tired, repetitive, out of touch. All down hill after Psycho Dave left.

Still crush competition in the ratings. I guess Ohio State isn't as popular either.

The Ticket isn't what it was in its prime but it's still far and away better than any of the mess 103.3 or 105.3 have proven capable of throwing out there.

What are you talking about and what and how does it relate in any way to Ohio state??

Ticket is hardly on the top of the DFW market even in college football times https://ratings.radio-online.com/content/arb024

Feel free to DM me on the Ohio State analogy.

The ticket is #1 in sports and #1 in their target demo regardless of format, 24-55 year old men.

The ticket is advertising SMU football tickets for Tulane as a special... $13.10 per ticket.

I know we paid for it but it is an effort.

Tell your friends.

Station is for those that think like they are 13 year old boys. WRR for me!!!

If we want actual attention then we'll need sustained investment: multiyear contract to have the Hardline remote at Moody for 10 home games per year. Include a suite for all football and mens/womens basketball games.

Pay for a weekly 2 hour slot on KTCK to air The SMU Show -- live on random late weeknight and available in podcast form as well. PONY NATE-tion LOOKING AT YOU AHEM...

For some insight as to what that might sound like, here's today's episode from Nate's Mavs show VICTORY AVE, featuring guest Jake Kemp from The Ticket:
