Favorite Boulevard Eats or Drinks

Postby ponyboy » Wed Oct 13, 2021 5:54 pm

Since it’s a bye week, how about sharing your favorite things to eat and drink on the Boulevard?

Here’s a little drink I created to get prepared for a noontime game a few years back. It’s named after our favorite street bordering the north side of campus (and a little book by Harper Lee), and it’s kinda been my gametime go-to ever since.

TEQUILA MOCKINGBIRD
Over ice,
Fill a Solo cup two-thirds with tomato juice
Add,
2 oz Patron Silver
Pinch of smoked sea salt (from Whole Foods)
Ground pepper
Good shake of Tabasco
1 tsp of Worcestershire
1/2 lime

If I'm feeling feisty, I will add a little minced garlic

Garnish with cilantro

Not a bad recipe. And who cares but north is a Tequila Daniel, no?

After a few of these you think Mockingbird borders the north end of campus.
