It's Tulane and it's on a work/school night. Two small privates that don't have large fan followings might generate a 15k crowd. Giving tickets away will not make a dent in attendance for this one.

Here’s where we stand from a tickets sales perspective. There are plenty of tickets available in the north end zone, but all of the sideline sections (100-108, 200-208, 120-128, 220-228) are basically sold, with the exception of some seats in sections 202 and 206.

Tickets sold aren’t butts in seats, but it doesn’t look too bad. Glad we’re discounting end zone seats to get those filled.

Would be a good showing to have 25k in Ford and an easy (and impressive) win Thursday. SMU is in a long running audition now

Yeah, 25K in attendance would be fantastic. An even bigger win would be for half of them to show up before the second quarter.

Would be nice to see the park cities actually support SMU football. I mean if I lived in walking distance I'd be at every game

Heck yes. I wouldn’t care if it was my alma mater. High quality college football and a stellar pregame experience right down the street.

Certainly going to do my best to be there for kickoff - but unless you live / work pretty close to the stadium, getting anywhere in Dallas on time immediately after work on a weeknight is a pretty tall order.

The unnecessary Highland Park parking restrictions in the neighborhoods south of campus (e.g. only being able to park on one side of the street) certainly isn't going to help either.

Time for all of us to "Pony Up" so another parking garage can be built

If the expansion plans of the AAC are true then there will be no need for additional parking. The current 1500 strong supporters will probably drop to 500 so there will be plenty of parking available.

Interesting that our game vs Tulane is going head to head against FAU vs Charlotte (CBSSN) and Louisiana vs Arky State (ESPNU) in same time slot. Will be interesting to compare ratings of the 3 early games that will be overshadowed by NFL (Broncos v Browns), NLCS baseball (Braves v Dodgers) & NBA (Dallas vs Atlanta). Table scraps.

As the only ranked team in action we should dominate the ratings.
