The reality at Colorado is going to be tough for 2-3 years, and there is no guarantee it'll ever work - either because Deion doesn't produce a winner, or because he bolts for an easier job with more resources (ala Mel Tucker).

There's a very good shot SMU will get another crack at this kid, and if so, he'll be more valuable next time around once he's bulked up/grown up on CO's nickel, and exhausted his one free transfer.

There are Aggies screaming already for the school to can Jimbo Fisher and throw piles of money at Deion Sanders, which seems hilarious. I just can't picture him walking into College Station, with their Corps and the dog and the weird milkmen on the sideline and all their insane "traditions" and saying "this is where I belong." Maybe he can coach, maybe he can't. But that is a pairing that just can't fit.

If Deion makes it to a decent bowl this year he will be in the NFL pronto. He wants the biggest national stage possible and a mid level Big 12 team is not it.

Deion won't go NFL. His "ministry" is coaching kids.

His ministry is money and being in the spotlight, having people talk about him.

I dislike Deion and I dislike the Aggies.

I sure hope they hire him.

There is enough insanity already in Bryan-College Station. For the love of everything holy, no Deion sawing anything off...

Not sure he would leave Colorado as long as Shedeur and Travis Hunter are on his roster there

So Deion has spent the past 10 years coaching high school and Jackson State and he wants to be in the NFL and is about the spotlight and money. Got it.

Deion’s not going to the NFL.

He will stay at the college ranks for a while if he continues winning and getting recruits.

Supposedly his sunglasses presold over $1mm after the Norvell nonsense.

I would love to have Ford stadium packed right now. Woulda shoulda coulda.

Here’s hoping and praying Lashlee is our long term answer.

My twin brother, an Aggie, is hoping Ole Miss cans Kiffin so Aggie will then can Jimbo and hire Kiffin. My son is in his first year at Ole Miss, so I really hope he stays there.
