The school shooting in Oxford MI was at his hometown school, where he is now in his second year as head football coach. One of the four students who died was a standout on the football team, and an honor student.

Zach and wife McKenzie are on our Advisory Board of Directors for our heart nonprofit, and are genuinely two of the best people you will ever meet. This has rocked their world and that entire community.

If only God had the power necessary to control evil and its mythological source, the Devil! Or even Supreme Court decisions! And if only there were more guns in the hands of the teachers there, so Jesus could guide their trigger fingers and deliver us from Satan’s schemes!

I find relating these murders of children to a Devil vs God pageantry hugely insulting.

Thoughts and prayers to the entire Oxford community. Pray that Zack can be a force for good in this tragedy. High school coaches can have a great impact on their students.

Sounds like some really great parenting was involved. Sad news but unfortunately this is more and more commonplace these days
