He did say something about keeping the current coaches for the bowl game in order to maintain consistency in system, terminology, etc. for the final game.

Before the coaching announcement I had heard that Tanner was planning on declaring for the NFL draft to strike while the iron is hot.

He also said he would focus on the current roster first, about half of which he knows personally, then recruiting and hiring a staff. He said he wanted the right people not the most. His focus is winning in November and winning championships.
