To get some perspective on just how competitive things are getting now that everything is out in the open:

https://www.cbssports.com/college-footb ... -programs/

"according to one industry insider, only 10 of 480,000 Division I athletes will make seven figures in NIL. About 100 athletes out of that group will make six figures. Approximately 1,000 will top out making more than $10,000. Those figures come from Jim Cavale, founder and CEO of INFLCR, a content platform form for elite athletes"

It's great to see what you all are doing, and that it's paying dividends! I'm curious: do the rules prohibit universities from allowing their name/trademarks/IP to be used by private groups like this collective, or is SMU just choosing not to at this point? No criticism of your efforts implied -- I'm brand new to the topic, and haven't seen that question answered.

We are all new to this. The first 7 months has been a learning experience for many. SMU started a BOLD program last year. " Business Opportunities Live in Dallas.

The young people need to know how to do business and be smart about it. This program helps them to not be hoodwinked.

As far as SMU coordinating anything. I would think they would look at the person, the grades, the major and if there is a fit... SMU let's it go.

If the person - Behaviors
If the grades - Abilities
Path to graduation - Aptitude
AND A DARN GOOD PLAYER.
That is a fit.

Let's Go Mustangs - "PONY UP"

Peace
