Interesting read about Kameron Allen. It says, among other things:

• That his high school football career really took off after he transferred to a new school, where he found a support system of people who challenged and pushed him.

• That he was drawn to Michigan State in part because the tight ends were coached by a former wide receiver, giving Allen the idea that he'd be split out some to play in space. Apparently he has considerable speed to go along with his size.

Didn't work out for him at MSU (Mrs CP's alma mater) and I suspect experiencing a winter in East Lansing will make him feel good about the decision to return to Texas. Looks like he lined up all over the field in H.S. so we will see whether he can earn playing time here and how he might be utilized.
