Pierre Goree runs nation’s fastest 100M

Postby ponyboy » Mon Apr 18, 2022 3:41 pm

Probably the fastest Texas time ever (though not officially, due to the lack of a wind gauge).

I think a 220 lb safety who is the fastest 100M guy in the nation might challenge for some playing time.

Sounds like it's time to add men's track back...

Between the two of them, Chace Biddle might have been the higher rated safety SMU recruited last year but I will not be surprised if Goree turns out to be the better college athlete. Those are some serious wheels for a guy his size

Put him in the backfield with Levine ahead of him on a toss sweep. Who’s the poor sucker who’s gonna jump in front of that?

Ran an even faster 10.09 yesterday. Video is awesome when you look at his size vs everyone else.

Kind of like my 6.7 turbo diesel... a little slow at start but omg the top end.

Like the comment about running the ball.

Amazing!

Seems like we could use him at WR for a few plays a game. With his speed he should be wide open deep.

Good god. How about that size and speed returning kickoffs? Might see tacklers *avoiding* contact

Running a bubble screen or a sweep would be fun with him.

For context, LSU’s Terrance Laird won the 2021 NCAA championship in the 100M with a 10.05.

It's strange. It doesn't look like he's running that fast, but then ............. woosh
