Depends on if these ‘media’ reports are accurate….most aren’t, ones sourced from the B12 have an obvious agenda.
I personally think B10 is in a much better position to the SEC due to academics, TV markets, school wealth and their already established a national footprint.
I can’t see Cal-Berkeley or Stanford joining the SEC for academic or cultural reasons. Because of this, i think it’s highly unlikely Oregon or Washington joins the SEC. So if you’re the B10 and you didn’t add these 4 schools 6 weeks ago, why add them now??? You may eventually once there is clarity to ACC GOR, but there is no urgency to do so now. They will always accept your offer.
I also think UT made a mistake joining the SEC, they (and A&M) would be better served in the B10.
These are academic institutions after all.
