SMU-to-NFL receivers

Postby Otto » Sun Aug 14, 2022 5:53 pm

You're the GM of an NFL team with postseason dreams, and you get one current/recent NFL receiver for a one-year run (so age doesn't matter).
I really shouldn't drink and type.

Beasley is tiny and lacks top-end breakaway speed, and had spent a decade driving defenses nuts.

Long-term, it has to be Sutton.
But for a single season: Sanders

Very nice. I can’t believe he wouldn’t be an asset for the Ravens.

Bummer that we have not seen Proche, who is supposedly healing an injury. But it was nice to see Roberson (and Howerton) on the Titans.

Trey Quinn should make this list. I know he was cut, but hoping he catches on somewhere.

Reggie Roberson Jr has had an impressive preseason as well.

Yes and although not a WR, Justin Lawler cut by the Titans. No other Mustangs cut yet that I could see
