I would think with our greater depth and much better coaching we should do well late in the season.

The schedule also matters. We have several tough games early and mid season compared to recent years

Lets not forget Sonny was way better than the previous six coaches we had. For the first time in my lifetime, I've come to expect SMU to win -- under Sonny.

This is also the year that the G6 team is pretty likely to be in the Cotton Bowl, based on the ESPN projections I've seen.
