Current thinking:

Week 4: Clemson at Wake Forest
Location: Winston-Salem
Date: Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022

Week 4 was ripe for a trip to Boone – for James Madison at App State – but ESPN opted to visit a week earlier. If they don’t pick Winston-Salem for the second time in three years – when they also broadcasted ahead of Clemson’s visit – they could go to Knoxville for Florida-Tennessee, Provo for Wyoming-BYU, or Ames for Baylor-Iowa State.

I would argue SMU TCU hangs right in there with those options. Offers quite a few narratives as well.

This series by Fifth Quarter SMU on twitter has been excellent.

If Game Day came to SMU, who would be the guest celebrity picker?

ED would be the obvious picker.

ED would obviously be great but I might lean towards the Mayor

The mayor is fantastic and 100% behind everything on the Hilltop, but ESPN generally goes for someone recognizable outside of the city.

Brian Baumgartner (The Office) would be a solid choice as well.

Hard to imagine ESPN even considering this

Dauber (Bill Fagerbakke) from Coach. It an old reference, but it fits!

Cole Beasley and Emmanuel Sanders are available.
