Another article.
No timeline on expansion if at all by PAC.

I encourage listening to the entire interview on the podcast and making your own conclusions

The PAC commissioner, George Kliavkoff, was giving his first interview since PAC Media Day eight weeks ago. The interviewers were 2 PAC beat writers, obviously highly respected.

Kliavkoff’s response simply stated the Media rights deal comes before any expansion talk and that since there aren’t any new media rights deals happening amongst the P5, he can take his time to get it right.

It was telling that in the hypothetical expansion talk, the only 2 schools mentioned were SD St & SMU.

just read that there are discussions between the PAC12, the ACC and B12 about a possible merger of the three conferences.. doesn't sound good for SMU.

SMU has done very little to prove it belongs in P5 and our lack of a large fan following is reason # 1

CP- agree, However, we need to decide if we want to stay in a garbage conference or just shut down the fb program. I have no desire to see us in a group of low level second level fb teams and a conference that is even below cusa, mwc etc.

Highland Park families ≠ college football fans. Put an exciting product on the field, promote local/S. Metroplex talent, run creative promotions trying to pull in Joe-Dallas fans.

SMUer- Dallas supports winning teams and we aren't. Today proves that we are not even close.

Sweating though my underwear in the bounce-house area, alternatively watching my kids and running over to the hill to watch a few snaps; also taking turns with my wife waiting in line for waters or lemon icees. Our stadium seats “burn” my kids butts too much for them to sit down there. That’s how my game went, how was yours?
