Saw this article on Friday. While lots of doom and gloom on here because we lost to former SMU COACCH “Sonny [deleted]” , we are just as good as the schools that are still targets. This is from Friday. Us and SDSU are both 2 and 2

The Mustangs continue to look like one of the best Group of Five teams, and easily could have won that game against Maryland. They again are home to one of the most prolific passing offenses, and while the Dallas area isn't close in proximity to the rest of the conference, it would give Pac-12 schools a direct line to the recruiting hot bed that is Texas.

I hate losing to TCU as much as anyone but from everything I’ve read wins and losses mean less than other things. (Geography, tv market, academics.) Even with the last two losses we’ve proven we can compete with P5 programs even without the benefit of recruiting as a P5.

"compete with P5 programs" aka lose to every P5 program over the past decade except TCU (who we are 2-8 against)

Yo it was two one score games this season. Games that we clearly had a chance to win. San Diego st is 0-2 versus P5 this year and the seem to be a lock for the PAC12. And I’ll just point out that Maryland followed up a close win against us with a one score loss against Michigan.
