Anyone else surprised that Nwakobia and Goree haven't played more? I know they're young, but they should have high ceilings. Are they hurt?

Goree is now listed as a linebacker on the SMU football roster page.
To not use him in any way is borderline malpractice. Hoping he gets some run at least when we're up in games midseason.

Goree has played in every game so far. One more and he's burned his RS. I haven't watched closely enough but assume he's played on special teams with his speed and defensive experience

Goree is playing a new position as a true freshman. The fact that he can run faster than most humans does not mean he is yet prepared to play linebacker. I trust the coaches are watching him and if and when he is ready he will play. If he transfers it will be for track and not because of football.
