Rice Invited To Reese’s Senior Bowl

MOBILE, Ala. (Senior Bowl/SMU) – Wide receiver Rashee Rice has officially been invited to the Reese's Senior Bowl.

The Biletnikoff Watch List and Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Watch List selection leads the nation in receiving yards (1,068) and receiving ypg (118.7) and is fifth in receptions/game (7.9) and 10th in receiving TDs (8). He currently has a streak of 37 straight games with a reception (4th NCAA). He was named a second-team midseason All-American by The Athletic and Pro Football Focus.

Rice went 9-86 receiving with 2 TDs against Houston, giving him his fifth career multi-TD game (3rd in 2022). He has 8+ catches in six of nine games this season.

At Tulsa, Rice went 9-180 with two TDs, giving him his fifth 100-yard game of the season (9th career). Rice's 12 receptions at UCF were a career high and his 122 receiving yards gave him his fourth 100-yard game this season and eighth of his career. He has 8+ receptions in six of nine games in 2022. He set a new career high for receiving yards with 193 at Maryland.

On SMU career lists, Rice is sixth in receptions (208), tied for sixth in receiving TDs (23) and seventh in receiving yards (2824).

On NCAA career active lists, Rice is fifth in receptions, sixth in receiving yards, seventh in receiving TDs an eighth in receiving yards and receiving yards per game.

Rice was listed on All-American Athletic Conference preseason teams by Phil Steele, Dave Campbell's, College Football News and Athlon Sports. He was ranked No. 50 on DCTF's Lone Star List and No. 8 on CFN'S top AAC players list. Rice is also on the East-West Shrine Bowl 1000 List.
