All-AAC?

It's the time of year when season awards come out, which raises the question: What Mustangs deserve all-conference honors? My votes:

All-AAC
Tanner Mordecai
Rashee Rice
Collin Rogers

Honorable mention
Jimmy Phillips
Nick Roberts
Elijah Chatman

I'd like to see Massey, if only because teams avoid kicking to him at all costs

Howerton will get placed somewhere because of his PFF rating. Maybe JT as well. RJ Maryland will make all frosh team.

Well Howerton should definitely make it since he is now in the NFL

First team: Rashee Rice

Second team: OL Justin Osborne, DL Elijah Chatman

Honorable mention: OL Jaylon Thomas

Mordecai somehow was not one of the top 3 QBs in the AAC???

Unbelievable. Just unbelievable. How?

Edit: Just looked and they didn’t name an honorable mention (third-team) QB, just the Houston and Tulane quarterbacks, Tune and Pratt.

Complete BS. Mordecai is better than both of them, and played through broken ribs.

Maybe the AAC votes were done by the same morons who didn't make Rashee a Biletnikoff finalist.

SMU is going to have to EARN respect. Too many years of monkeying around to be OK, that does not earn respect. As Arkpony states... it starts at the top. It is past time for an upgrade.

:) I meant hickman. He and TM were snubbed. Surprised Osborne made it in, especially over HIckman. Honestly, though, we rotated through RBs and WR all season, no individual had consistent enough of an impact to justify inclusion.

Houston have up 77 to us, 35 to UTSA, 48 to Kansas, 36 to Temple and 37 to Tulsa ... and had 3 defensive players honored?
